Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy involves both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnosis, to give patients the tools to manage and overcome stress and feelings of anxiety. It is designed to help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.
Who I am
Hi, I’m Georgina, a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist based in London. I specialise in supporting people with anxiety, stress, overwhelm, confidence and self-esteem, helping clients better understand themselves and create lasting, meaningful change.
What my approach is
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with evidence-based approaches including CBT, mindfulness and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor sessions to each person individually, combining practical tools with deeper therapeutic work to help clients feel calmer, more grounded and more able to navigate life’s challenges.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to coping alone or putting pressure on yourself to “just get on with it.” Creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood and genuinely accepted is therefore incredibly important to me. My style is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative — I aim for sessions to feel like a real human connection rather than a cold or clinical experience.
I’m particularly passionate about helping people who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-criticism, burnout or anxiety, and supporting them to reconnect with themselves with more self-compassion and flexibility. Many of my clients are high-functioning externally whilst struggling internally, and together we work to understand the patterns keeping them stuck and build healthier ways forward.
Alongside my therapy work, I also deliver Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England) training, workplace wellbeing workshops, and public workshops focused on relaxation, stress management and sleep support, giving me experience supporting mental health both individually and within wider communities and organisations.
Outside of therapy
When i’m not working, you’ll usually find me walking dogs, running or lifting weights, dancing to electronic music, listening to psychology and wellbeing podcasts, or trying to balance busy London life with slowing down where possible. I’m a big believer that mental wellbeing isn’t about perfection, it’s about learning how to respond to ourselves and life with greater awareness, resilience and kindness.
